Hawaiian Eye Foundation promotes optimal eye care for people of the Pacific Basin through service, education, and research programs that support the development of local capacity and infrastructure.

Current Activities

  • Expeditions that have provided free eye surgery and training in the Pacific Basin since 1984;
  • Training Programs that have taught advanced techniques to hundreds of eye doctors in Viet Nam since 2006;
  • Outreach Programs, including training scholarships, equipment and supply donations, and research projects benefiting unserved and underserved people of the Pacific.
  • Royal Hawaiian Eye Meetings that for 30 years have provided continuing education for US eye surgeons.
